fine hotel kind staff history information pack
i found the hotel visually fine from the outside, it really is beautiful. the staff showed kindness and were helpful throughout my stay. sarah at reception was so kind and even gave me a history information pack, it was informative and enjoyable to read.

historic architecture tranquil atmosphere friendly staff
the building and grounds were beautiful showcasing historic architecture i found the atmosphere tranquil and the park perfect for peaceful walks the staff was friendly and helpful making my stay very pleasant i particularly appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining the hotel.
i experienced a slight delay during check-in as there seemed to be some confusion regarding my room reservation.

maintained grounds high-quality linen sports facilities great rest
The hotel felt very cute with grounds that were well maintained. i enjoyed walking through the gardens near the building. my room had high-quality linen and provided me with great rest. the sports facilities are available to guests. I found them in excellent order.
The bathroom mirror was set back from the sink. This made makeup application a bit difficult.

mixed feelings about my stay
separate building broken shower
the lunch i had on the terrace was delicious.
the gym and small pool i wanted to use was in a separate building. this meant i walked outside to get to them. the showers werent working in the main building, so i had to walk back after using the pool, it was far from relaxing.
